COPtails

COPtails serves as the kick-off event for the state’s 3D month campaign. The interactive event brings together representatives from multiple law enforcement agencies to promote the use of designated drivers in a social setting. A local restaurant is selected as the location for a brief news conference and alcohol-free drink-service. Uniformed officers serve complimentary non-alcoholic drinks--or “COP”tails--to patrons during the lunch hour as a visual reminder to always designate a driver and to celebrate responsibly during the holiday season.
