OTS has three main goals in developing this system: to improve program delivery and effectiveness; to increase operational and staff efficiency; and to improve data capture and availability.
Yes. OTS solicited input from Grantees when developing the list of system requirements and included a group of grantees in user acceptance testing for the grant application module that was made available January 4, 2011. We will continue to include Grantees at critical points throughout the development and testing of eGrants.
eGrants went live to accept grant applications on January 4, 2011. Submission of quarterly performance reports (QPRs), reimbursement claims and revision requests through eGrants is currently being developed.
No. eGrants is web-based and will be accessible online using current versions of most popular web browsers.
